I have a degree in English and a diploma in publishing production, and I have been working in the publishing industry as a layout sub editor for 17 years.  Hello, my name is Melissa. I am the owner/editor of There for You Editing Services. I am, at this time, able to open up to new clients. I currently charge $1.50 per page in Word doc format (12pt font, 1.5 spaced). My editing includes puntuation, grammar, spelling, sentence structure and the overall “flow” of the story.
I keep in close contact with my authors during the edit. I will never make a major change without your permission (i.e. if something doesn’t make sense I won’t just delete it, I’ll contact you and discuss it). I make all my changes, with the exception of minor sentence structure or spacing, in red so that the author may see. My turn around time is approx. 1 week per book, depending on length and the extent of editing needed. Therefore, sometimes more or less.

I also like to promote the author’s page on my own Facebook business page. I have their cover photo as my profile picture during the editing and share the link to their page daily.
