Consequences by Shelia Horgan

For every action there is a reaction. For every act there is a consequence. Sometimes you may do your best and you still end up paying a consequence.

This is the case of kind-hearted Nora.  She has had a life filled with all kinds of kids. Kids that no one else really wanted.  Now they are grown and gone. Her marriage, which has been one of name only for awhile, is over as her husband has died. She can now have a life of caring about Nora.  WRONG!  One of her kids is in trouble and because she was one of Nora's kids she is drawn into it. The girl has disappeared and there is a trail of mayhem left behind. Is the girl responsible or is she just a victim of circumstance

Nora is determined to find out and steps back into the past while being hurled into now.  There she is reunited with social workers, parents of kids, and others that by now should have only been a memory.  Now she meets some new people. Some good, some not so good, but all part of this is part of the story.  Lessons in unconditional love, faith and caring are a vital part of this story.

I highly recommend this book and can not wait for the second part of this to be published.

One thing it is not like the "Tea" series. However, it is just as good and teaches us the same lessons in a different way.
