The Cross of St. Anne By Gary Alan Ruse

Okay, here it is, I was gonna do it tomorrow but couldn't wait! This review was done by myself, Debra Bushman, a reviewer of buggie4book. This is my first review, so I hope I do this author justice! The book I just got done reading was "Cross of St. Anne" by Mr. Gary Ruse. Let me tell you, this was an excellent book for the person who craves mystery in their reading as I do! The book starts out with Annie, an antiques dealer, bringing a cherished relic cross to the Devereaux family in Long Island. They were starting a museum in their huge mansion and had requested Annie bring the cross and help to possibly purchase more relics for them. The mystery starts right after her arrival to the museum, when the cross was stolen not long after her arrival. The police were called and the "official" investigation began.
But Annie decided to investigate on her own. The more she discovered, the more scared she became. Weird things started happening all over the place and no one would believe her. She tried to escape to the neighbor Karen's house for help, only...I don't want to give too much of this book away, so I am not going to give away the ending, but you definitely should read this thriller to find out what happens at the end! I give this book a positive 5 out of 5 stars, a thumbs up for sure! I am definitely a mystery lover, and this book will fill that need for you if you love a lot of twists and turns to a story! Great book Mr. Ruse! Looking forward to the next one, "Murder in Deer Creek"! Debra Bushman
