Imperfect

This book was a wonderful read. I would read it again and tell people about it as I am about to in this review.

Carol is a young lesbian whom fell in love with Alexandria. Now Carol was white and Alexandria was black so they were a mixed couple and gay at that. Carols father died in a bad wreck years before the night Carol came out and told her parents she was gay her mother about had a heart attack she went off on Carol. Well that is when her father went for a drive and never came back.

Carol then went to college where she meet and fell in love with Alex at a bar on Carol's 21st birthday. Once Carol finished college her and Alex moved in together only to face some very hard times. Carol and Alex became sick often and took forever for them to get well. Carol finally went to the doctor to only find out she had Aids. Alex was tested also and found out she too had aids. Whom gave whom aids? Was it from the drug use Alex use to do and got it shooting up or was it from blood Carol got as a child when she fell ill once?

Carol and Alex had to face the unthinkable. They were very sick and didn't know what to do. They had to face hate letters being taped to their door. Who hated them so much to leave the letters and break their window? Was is someone they knew? Was is just some jerk?

Carol and Alex where in the bank one day to see what went wrong with Carol's acct. and then a gunman came in and held the bank up. Well the swat team came and Alex got shot by mistake.

Will Alex live or will Carol have to go on with out her?

Just remember Not even death can stop true love.
I would give this book a 5 hands down I felt like I knew the people in the book. Gave me a new out look on gays I was never anit gay I really never cared I looked at it this way don't bother me and I won't bother you.

This book will show you that we are all the same and love is love is love.
Very glad I got to read and review this book.
