At first I said never let me hire this guy as my P.I. then as I read further and further, I said hmmm maybe there is hope for him yet. Dev Haskell takes on a case of a woman looking for a sister she hasn't seen or heard from in sometime. Simple right? WRONG! While looking for her he gets taken to places he never thought he would be. Meets people I never hope to meet. I laughed till I cried and met my "twin" sister when he almost hits her with his car. I got so involved I actually rode an extra bus so I could keep reading. Normally, I walk so I can get there in 10 mins as opposed to 35 on the bus. The characters were believable, and the plot was also. The best part of it all is I did not see some things coming.
I would highly recommend this book and will re-read it and any other books I can get my hands on by Mike. It gets 5 stars from me.
Only one question....when is the movie coming out?
